What's Your Self-Care Story?

Our mind has about 60,000 thoughts whirling around in our head throughout the day! Our attention is easily diverted and distracted whether it’s the dog barking, the phone ringing, or beeping, or an advertisement trying to sell us something. Our mind is overloaded!

It’s hard to tune into our bodies with so many other things grasping for our consideration. It’s easy to tune out, ignore the signals that we’re falling out of balance…maybe we need more sleep...maybe we’re eating too much sugar....or maybe our negative thoughts are outpacing the positive ones.

It's easy to just keep doing the same thing every day and wonder why we don’t get different results.

Our habits get so entrenched that we’re not even conscious of them.

About half of what we do each day feels like a decision, but it’s actually a habit that is hardwired into your day. That’s why it’s so hard to start something new, change something old and not fall back into your old patterns.

Writing things down helps you build more body awareness, get more clarity and solidify those ideas that keep coming in and out of your mind – things that you want to do but can’t seem to find the time for. Excuses that you keep making to justify why you’re not taking better care of you!

We all have our own self-care story – the story that includes the drama, excuses, blame, and negativity that holds us back from being our best self. Those old stories can make you feel stuck, …

Sometimes we need to see the bigger picture of our life, so we understand how the things we do all day affect our health and our self.

This requires a new mindset because our thoughts provide the energy that turns vision into reality.

My new woman’s self-care journal, THIS IS ME helps you look back at who and what shaped your self-care, it helps you get clear on how you feel now and what your body needs to make you feel vibrant, energized and dedicated to your self-care.

I share my story, and some of my clients, to help you get clear on your story. We're all in this together, and it's time we all started thinking outside the box and to contemplate a new form of health care that starts with our own radically responsible self-care.

I give you tools and exercises, and lots of space to write notes to yourself to help you gauge what’s working for you and what’s not so you can create your own unique instruction manual for living your healthiest life!

If you want to live a healthier life, you have to tune into you sometimes with radar vision to understand the cause and effect of what you eat, how you move, how much you sleep you need, and how much you're getting.

Writing things down helps you connect the dots between what works you and what doesn’t.

I know sometimes journaling can be daunting. You sit down and stare at the blank page, and your mind turns blank. THIS IS ME provides you prompts, exercises, self inquires and even experiments to help you understand your body and your mind, tune into signs of discomfort and to see your self-care through a fresh lens.

I invite you to take a journey with me to create your own instruction manual for your life! Get clear on what works, what doesn’t and how you want to feel.
