Our mind has about 60,000 thoughts whirling around in our head throughout the day! Our attention is easily diverted and distracted whether it’s the dog barking, the phone ringing, or beeping, or an advertisement trying to sell us something. Our mind is overloaded!
It’s hard to tune into our bodies with so many other things grasping for our consideration. It’s easy to tune out, ignore the signals that we’re falling out of balance…maybe we need more sleep...maybe we’re eating too much sugar....or maybe our negative thoughts are outpacing the positive ones.
It's easy to just keep doing the same thing every day and wonder why we don’t get different results.
Our habits get so entrenched that we’re not even conscious of them.
About half of what we do each day feels like a decision, but it’s actually a habit that is hardwired into your day. That’s why it’s so hard to start something new, change something old and not fall back into your old patterns.
